古物は、出会いとして手渡したいと思っています。
そのため、主にEXHIBITIONSで販売しています。
オンラインでは、
202の視点をかたちにしたオリジナルや、
編集されたモノを紹介しています。

「愛おしさが滲んだもの」
それは単なる可愛さではなく、かたちの中に、愛着や人間味、
あるいは長い時間の積み重なりが感じられるもの。
日常の中でふと視線が止まり、その愛おしさに何度も心がざわつくもの。

Rather than trust what I am told is beautiful,
I want to trust what feels beautiful to me.
Through old objects, 202tokyo explores a question:
“What makes something beautiful?”
We gather questions, put them on display,
and give them form.

COLLECT — Collect old objects

202tokyo is a place to practice
this way of seeing and relating to objects.
We want old objects to be passed from hand to hand
as encounters.
For this reason, they are mainly offered
at our pop-ups.
Online,
we present original pieces shaped by 202’s perspective,
along with objects selected and presented through the same lens.
WHAT DRAWS OUR EYE
“Things with tenderness showing through.”
Not merely cute,
but forms that carry traces of affection, humanity,
or the passage of time.
